Nevada has a new update to its alcohol laws and will now allow the sale and delivery of mixed drinks in sealed containers for off-premises consumption. Restaurants, convenience stores, and delivery platforms like Uber Eats and Postmates can include alcoholic beverages with food deliveries.

Mandatory Alcohol Awareness Training

Before delivering any alcoholic beverages, all drivers must complete alcohol awareness training and obtain a TAM Card® (Techniques of Alcohol Management).

• The training covers essential topics such as safe beverage service, legal requirements, and how to properly package and deliver alcohol.
• Drivers will be trained to check valid identification and confirm customer addresses to ensure deliveries are made legally and safely.

Key Requirements for Alcohol Delivery

• Minimum Age: You must be 21 years or older to legally deliver alcohol.
• TAM Card Required: Delivery companies require their drivers to confirm they’ve completed alcohol training and TAM of Nevada is the number one recognized provider in Nevada.
• Delivery Platform Compliance: Each service (e.g., Uber Eats, Postmates) may have additional requirements. Typically, drivers must opt-in and confirm they’ve completed their training before being assigned orders with alcohol.
